Thirteen legendary dwarves, a pile of axes, and one enduring story — equipment triggers doubled, tokens marching, and Kili drawing cards for every beard that enters.
Boros dwarf tribal built around the Storied mechanic: with three or more artifacts, legendaries, and/or Sagas you gain an enduring story for the rest of the game, and every dwarf gets better. The deck reaches that state naturally by turn three — legendary dwarves plus cheap Equipment — then snowballs: Kíli the Resourceful draws a card whenever a Dwarf or Equipment enters and equips for free, Fíli the Pathfinder turns every dwarf into an extra 2/2 token with an anthem, and Dáin Ironfoot gives every equipped attacker double strike.
Roles
Threat:Fíli the Pathfinder (anthem + token per dwarf), Thorin Oakenshield (ward for the whole board), Dáin Ironfoot with any Equipment attached, Bifur, Melodic Rider doubling every dwarf trigger — with Fíli out that's two tokens per dwarf and two cards from Kíli.
Removal:Pinecone Strike (3 damage, exiles), Magnificent End (often {W} for a tapped attacker), The Black Arrow snipes utility creatures and executes Dragons.
Card draw:Kíli the Resourceful is the engine; Óin the Brave loots; Dori, Bearer of Friends ramps with Treasures.
Protection: Thorin's ward, Dáin Lord of the Iron Hills taxing attackers, Vow to Erebor — untap, +2/+2 and a free equipment re-attach at instant speed, a combat trick that wins almost any fight.
Lands: 20 with The Lonely Mountain making 2/2 dwarves late — cheap thanks to your Equipment count.
Synergies & curve
Curve: 1 mana (9), 2 (14), 3 (7), 4 (4+). Dwarven Shortsword is three cards in one: a 2/2 dwarf token, an Equipment, and with Fíli/Kíli out it also means an extra token and a draw. An Unexpected Party names Dwarf for a permanent +2/+2. Lifecraft Engine names Dwarf and pumps the whole company while crewing into a threat.
Turn 4 with Fíli and Kíli out: cast Dwarven Shortsword — it makes a 2/2, Fíli makes another 2/2, Kíli draws you a card, and the sword attaches for free. One card became three bodies and a draw.
Weak spots
Removal is thin and damage-based — a big resolved threat is hard to answer. Many one-of legendaries make draws swingy; the legend rule means duplicate Ori/Dori copies sit in hand (pitch them to Óin's loot). No flyers beyond nothing — evasive decks race you. Sweepers hurt, though Equipment and The Lonely Mountain rebuild.
